AeroVironment, Inc. announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense, Denmark, home of the UAS Denmark Test Center. The MOU focuses on jointly leveraging the center’s expansive airspace and cutting-edge test facilities to facilitate AeroVironment’s uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) demonstration activities, mission training, and customer integration across the region.
This collaboration aims to enable joint research and development projects and to accelerate UAS Denmark Test Center’s development as a leading regional hub for UAS innovation, assessment, and operational readiness.
The agreement follows AeroVironment’s February 2025 Framework Agreement with the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), through which AV is providing advanced UAS platforms, operator and maintainer training, and lifecycle support to bolster the Danish Armed Forces’ ISR capabilities. The MOU with UAS Denmark further reinforces AeroVironment’s commitment to delivering reliable, combat-proven UAS solutions.
By formalizing this partnership, AeroVironment is expanding its global operational support network to ensure allied forces have the necessary training and equipment to maintain readiness in dynamic operational environments.
