To combat the growing risk of accidental data leaks, the UK Ministry of Defence is turning to artificial intelligence. The initiative seeks to bolster information security by reducing human errors in the management of sensitive military data.
Australian technology provider Castlepoint Systems has been chosen to supply the solution. Their platform will support the MoD in tightening control over classified records and improving efficiency in information management across defense networks.
The company’s Explainable AI tool will be introduced to scan emails and documents in real-time, identifying sensitive content and implementing automated protections. This proactive approach ensures that flagged material is handled appropriately before errors can occur.
By adopting AI for defense information security, the UK underscores its commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to address emerging cyber and data-related threats while strengthening operational resilience.
