Vection Technologies, an Australian developer of digital and extended reality solutions, has landed a record-breaking defense contract in Europe. The company will supply secure computing and communications systems to a NATO-approved partner, marking the single largest deal in its history. The contract is valued at 22.3 million Australian dollars ($14.7 million) with the potential to rise to 29.5 million Australian dollars ($19.4 million) before the decade’s end.
At the core of the deal is Vection’s INTEGRATEDXR platform, a system combining artificial intelligence with immersive digital visualization. Designed to enhance situational awareness, the platform enables military operators to process large amounts of data through interactive simulations and secure digital environments. Following a successful pilot last year, the technology will now be deployed to monitor and protect key defense assets across Europe.
The company confirmed that the project will be delivered using its current workforce and infrastructure, avoiding the need for new investments. Its European partner, while unnamed, holds certifications to support NATO and the Council of Europe and has long-standing ties with leading defense firms across the continent.
Including this milestone agreement, Vection’s broader defense contracts now total 40 million Australian dollars ($26.4 million), factoring in previously signed deals worth 17.7 million ($11.6 million) and completed deliveries valued at 10.3 million ($6.8 million). If fully extended, the initiative could eventually reach 47.2 million Australian dollars ($31.1 million), strengthening Vection’s foothold in Europe’s defense technology sector.
