The Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation has launched several new projects to expand Greece’s military drone capabilities. Four recently signed contracts focus on the development of combat UAV technologies, including loitering munitions and domestically produced unmanned combat aircraft. The program aims to create a stronger national defense technology base while reducing reliance on foreign systems. By integrating research organizations and private companies with the armed forces, Greece hopes to accelerate innovation and improve operational readiness for future security challenges.
