Anduril Industries has secured a $99.6 million contract from the U.S. Army to lead the design and delivery of a cutting-edge next-generation command and control (NGC2) prototype. This initiative is part of the Army’s strategy to overhaul its command infrastructure with modern, data-driven capabilities.

Under the 11-month Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreement, Anduril will head a coalition of leading tech firms—collectively dubbed “Team Anduril.” The team includes Palantir, Striveworks, Govini, Instant Connect Enterprise, Research Innovations, Inc., and Microsoft. Together, they aim to create an advanced, integrated C2 suite tailored for real-time coordination, battlefield awareness, and scalable deployment.

The prototype will be fielded by the 4th Infantry Division, where it will undergo rigorous testing in a series of soldier-led operational exercises. These evaluations will help assess the system’s real-world performance and functionality under combat-like conditions.

In addition to performance testing, the Army and Team Anduril will examine ways to further refine the system—potentially expanding the ecosystem by inviting more vendors to contribute new technologies, ensuring the platform remains adaptable and future-ready.
