A group of Chinese engineers and scientists have declared that they have created a machine gun that can fire an incredible 450,000 rounds per minute per barrel. According to the weapon’s inventors, the weapon, which was constructed in Taiyuan, a central Chinese industrial center, can be fitted with up to five barrels, potentially delivering a maximum rate of fire of two million rounds per minute.The machine gun is reported to be able to engage and intercept hypersonic targets—which move faster than Mach 7—at such a high pace.
