Czech defense firm LPP Holding has introduced the “Hornet,” an autonomous unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed to support military logistics, including tasks like ammunition transport and casualty evacuation. Equipped with a self-driving control system, the Hornet can navigate unfamiliar terrain, calculate optimal routes, and avoid obstacles without human intervention. The versatile platform can also be adapted for combat, medical response, ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance), and CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) missions to enhance operational support and troop safety.
